On July 2, 2026, members of the SNU-CMU Human-Centered AI Research Center met with Professor John Stamper’s lab from Carnegie Mellon University for a research exchange in Seoul. The gathering brought together students and researchers from both institutions and provided an opportunity to strengthen connections through both academic and informal interaction.
During the exchange, participants discussed ongoing research projects, paper ideas, and emerging topics in human-computer interaction, learning technologies, and human-centered AI. Students from SNU and CMU also shared their research interests and experiences, exchanged ideas, and talked about possible directions for future collaboration.
The group continued the conversation over a meal, creating a more relaxed setting for students and researchers to get to know one another beyond formal research discussions. This informal interaction helped strengthen connections across the two institutions and encouraged further exchange of ideas and perspectives.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to deepen the relationship between the SNU and CMU teams and to support continued academic exchange, student interaction, and future collaborative research.
